Other important contributing ingredients include terpenes, essential oils, and synergistic ingredients and extracts like frankincense, curcumin and supercritical turmeric extract. These additional ingredients are specially formulated to amplify CBD's benefits as impactfully as possible.

What is Full Spectrum Hemp Extract?
A Full Spectrum Hemp Extract is a holistic extract from the hemp plant – a Cannabis sativa strain with a THC content of less than 0.3 %.
Full-spectrum extracts contain – as the name implies – the full spectrum of beneficial phytochemicals and active principles present in the hemp plant, including CBD and other cannabinoids, often also trace amounts of THC, terpenes, oils, and other phytochemicals.
Full-spectrum extracts are preferred by many people for two key reasons.
1.) They are considered to be more natural – and are generally not as refined as isolates or more processed extracts (where the THC has been entirely removed).
2.) Full Spectrum Extracts tend to offer more noticeable benefits to first-time users. The synergy between different chemical components in the extracts creates a more noticeable effect.
Chemical Information
Cannabidiol (CBD oil)
As with all our products, the most important active component of the Hemp Extract Oil is the compound known as cannabidiol (CBD).
Cannabidiol is a non-psychoactive component of cannabis. It is the subject of significant and rapidly growing amounts of research.
Our CBD is obtained by extraction from the legal hemp plants in the US.
CBD Terpenes
Terpenes are a class of carbon-based, often aroma-bearing compounds most abundantly found in plant oils like essential oils.
Biosynthesized from smaller building blocks related to isoprene, there is a diverse variety and incredible number of terpenes in nature, each with its own unique array of effects.
Generally speaking, the more processed a Hemp or CBD extract is, the fewer terpenes will be retained – unless more are added after the distillation process.
Added Extracts, Oils, and Vitamins
Our Full Spectrum Hemp Extract Oils each contain additional nutrients such as plant extracts or vitamins to strengthen their benefits.
For more information on the added ingredients, please check out the product description.
In additional to CBD extract, terpenes, and extracts, our Hemp Extract Oils contain are based on additional oils, including essential oils and MCT (medium-chain triglyceride) oil – also known as a coconut oil extract.
- MCT oil is used primarily as a carrier oil for the Hemp Extract which improves CBD absorption and also allows us to standardize our products for ease of use. It is non-toxic and sometimes has a mild coconut flavour.
- Essential oils of mint, blackseed, cardamom, lavender and frankincense are used to add flavour and aroma to the hemp extract product, as well as for their additional synergistic properties.

Key Benefits of Hemp Extract Oils
When comparing Full Spectrum Hemp Extract Oils to Isolates, there are several unique benefits to consider regarding the Extracts.
First, Full Spectrum Hemp Oil Extracts are less refined, less distilled, and have a greater and more complete phytochemical content than CBD isolates. They are considered by some to be more ‘natural’.
Second, the greater content of phytochemicals and terpenes in Hemp Oil Extracts leads to a synergistic effect where the immediate effects of less refined extracts are often more noticeable than those of pure CBD isolates.
We currently stock three varieties of Full Spectrum Hemp Extract Oil products, each with its own unique benefits:

CBD Terpenes and Other Cannabinoids
Each Full Spectrum Hemp Extract Oil product is formulated with a unique blend of hemp-derived terpenes.
Terpenes are a class of compound found in many types of hemp plants.
There are many different types of terpenes available, each with its own set of benefits. When combined in the correct ratios, terpenes are an important addition to any Hemp Extract Oil in terms of bringing out the desired effects.
Furthermore, all Full Spectrum Hemp Extracts contain a range of additional cannabinoids.
As you may already know, the hemp plant contains many different active compounds – of which THC and CBD are the best known. However, lesser-known cannabinoids that are also of interest to researchers include cannabichromene (CBC), cannabigerol (CBG), and cannabinol (CBN).
Our Full Spectrum Hemp Extract products contain these additional cannabinoids in addition to CBD and legally permissible quantities of THC.
